Microlife sponsors an educational program on self blood pressure measurement at the Spanish Society of Hypertension Congress
Widnau, March 9, 2007: Microlife sponsors an educational program on self blood pressure measurement at the Spanish Society of Hypertension Congress lead by President L. M. Ruilope. Specifically, at this congress, Microlife participated at the 6th Meeting of Nurses in Hypertension and Cardiovascular Risk by presenting Microlife and its technologies to a vast audience of nurses. The Meeting was possible thanks to the collaboration of Microlife and other big pharmaceutical names such as Novartis, Pfizer and Boehringer Ingelheim. Acceptance of Microlife's technologies was very high as well as the appreciation for its extensive validations. As a result nurses will have no hesitation in recommending Microlife to their patients. Mrs L. Guerrero, head nurse of the national association, said that PAD and MAM can make the difference at the hypertension centers in order to identify more accurately blood pressure. Mr J. G. Vilaplana, Hypertension Interest Group Chairperson of the European Dialysis and Transplant Nurses Association as well as Mrs M. L.C.C. Garcia, Conference President 2006 were impressed by the presentation and asked Microlife to collaborate as first movers to the education of nurses in this important European wide association based in Lucerne, Switzerland.
